Screaming Frog SEO Spider Update – Version 1.10

We have just released an update to the Screaming Frog SEO Spider. The new release (version 1.10) includes additional features aswell as fixes for a few bugs that we have received feedback from since our initial launch.

So, what is new for version 1.10 of the Screaming Frog SEO Spider?

  • Basic proxy support
  • Crawl depth limit option
  • No response filter (Quite literally for when we try but do not receive a http response! Things like malformed URI’s, connection timed out or DNS errors etc).
  • Accent support / diacritical marks (The spider reads pages in UTF-8 and will export accents now)
  • Right click open in browser for to and from URI included for lower details window (for inlinks, outlinks and image info tabs)

We have added a Java check-up on installation and also included extra debugging for the spider which helps us identify exactly which URI might be causing problems within the log file for continued spider support.

Simply click ‘help’ and then ‘check for updates’ to download the new version of the Screaming Frog SEO Spider, or alternatively you can download it here.
