OG Image Over 5MB

Example:

<meta property="og:title" content="Your headline">
<meta property="og:description" content="Your exciting description.">
<meta property="og:url" content="https://example.com">
<meta property="og:image" content="https://example.com/image.jpg">

And the image URL https://example.com/image.jpg is over 5MB.

How To Fix

Ensure that images specified in og:image are optimised and below the 5MB limit so it can be used by social media platforms.

Optimise images using compression to reduce file size.

Consider encoding JPEG and PNG images into new formats such as WebP which allow for greater compression to enable them to load faster and consume less data.
