Pages which have meta descriptions much shorter than Google’s estimated pixel length limit.

This isn’t necessarily an issue, but it does indicate there might be room to communicate benefits, USPs or call to actions.

How to Analyse in the SEO Spider

View URLs with this issue in the ‘Meta Description’ tab and ‘Below 400 Pixels’ filter, and export all URLs using the ‘Export’ button.

What Triggers This Issue

This issue is triggered when a page has a meta description much shorter than Google’s estimated pixel length limit. For example:

How To Fix

Consider updating the meta description to take advantage of the space left to include additional benefits, USPs or call to actions to improve click through rates (CTR).
