What Triggers This Issue

This issue is triggered when the og:image URL is relative, rather than absolute.

Example:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<meta property="og:title" content="Your headline">
<meta property="og:description" content="Your exciting description.">
<meta property="og:url" content="https://example.com">
<meta property="og:image" content="/image.jpg">
</head>
<body>
...
</body>
</html>

The og:image URL is relative /image.jpg when it should be absolute https://example.com/image.jpg.

How To Fix

Ensure that the URL specified in og:image uses an absolute URL so it can be used by social media platforms.
